About your role

Macrobond is looking for an Account Manager to join our EMEA Sales team. In the role you will be involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and will serve as their main point of contact. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing business opportunities with existing client accounts. Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will be to build and nurture relationships with assigned clients, serving as their primary contact and trusted advisors. You will be required to understand your clients’ needs and objectives and proactively identify opportunities to provide value and meet their business goals. You will be partnering with your Sales Team leader to deliver account plans and strategies to grow revenue, expand product and service offerings and achieve sales targets. You will be required to conduct regular meetings and communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns and provide timely support.

Key to the role is to collaborate with internal teams; sales, marketing, and product development to deliver tailored solutions and exceed client expectations. In your role as Account Manager, you be required to monitor, and analyze account performance metrics such as sales data, customer satisfactions and renewal rates so we can identify areas for improvement and developing action plans.

Essential skills/qualifications

What will you need to do it?

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Executive, or in similar client facing role with a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering expectational customer service
  • Experience selling or buying SaaS or B2B software, with an appreciation of the complexities involved
  • Ability to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Ideally experience with the strategic growth of existing accounts and an ability to upsell within cold / existing accounts
  • Experience of using Salesforce.com

What you will bring?

  • A consultative sales approach, showing strong sales and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and handle objections while managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships and earn trust
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer obsessed mindset.
  • Evidenced ability to pick up new concepts and understand them quickly.
  • Our product is technical and financial in nature, and so a reasonable level of financial literacy would be a bonus
